Shorts felt like their current website needed bringing up to date and the system just wasn't working for them. Their brief was to have a system which was easier for the staff to use, speed the website up and include functionality within the site which was helpful to both them and their customers.
We gave the site a simple and clean look as the main goal of the Shorts website is for customers to easily find what they are looking for and not really the type of website people would browse around on. We found the current structure of the site confusing so we suggested re-categorising certain items and worked with the Shorts team to create an intuitive advanced search feature for customers to have an alternative to just keywords. Based on their current analytics data, Shorts could see there was a big need for this feature as for example some customers may only know the Product Brand and the type of product, not necessarily the Product Name/Number.
Shorts were really happy with the new system we provided and found it much easier to use and teach to other staff members. They were pleased with the brand new Shorts look and feel and so far customers have given really great feedback.
