Shorts is the UK’s leading manufacturer of complete lift solutions, lift components for modernisation and spare parts for repair. They required a highly customised WordPress based faux eCommerce website. It was customised to work in the way that the client wanted with customers registering to buy their products.

Wireframes

Wireframing was an important step in the design process for Shorts. It allowed us to define the information hierarchy of their eCommerce site, making it easier to plan the layout according to how the customer will initially be registering and making payments. As this was an unconventional eCommerce build, we had to see the architectural blueprint to determine how the user will interact with the navigation, button states and menu behaviours.

Visual Design

The website was designed to encompass a high range of lift components, lift spares and complete lifts. Shorts requested that the functionality of filtering products should help their customers to find specific products as quick and easy as possible.
