Pure Matrimony is the world’s largest matchmaking website for practising Muslims since 2010, serving over 50 countries in more than 12 languages. Helping Muslims around the world complete half of their deen in a safe, secure and halal environment.
We were approached by our long time client to build trust on an entirely new platform to continue to generate, sustain and improve their business by providing the means to operate at a larger scale in a modern market.
The app we created for both Android and iOS platforms was specifically designed to follow Pure Matrimony’s ethos of helping to find matches based on personality and Islamic values, that allow for deeper compatibility for Muslims to gain higher level matches. As a result, we helped Pure Matrimony marry over 20,000 practising Muslims.
We initially proposed Pure Matrimony connect their audience in new ways by introducing a sophisticated Islamic personality matching algorithm to better match profiles. The matching algorithm is based on the ‘Myer-Briggs Model’, that is a scientifically proven to help determine the compatibility with someone based on deeper aspects of their behaviour. It is the first such algorithm to be introduced into an online Muslim matchmaking platform. This has given the user a greater understanding of the kinds of matches that best suit them and who they are compatible with. The app is bringing people together on deeper values and formulating marriages algorithmically that will help create deep, and meaningful bonds.
With the app, It is much simpler, easier, and in tune with how the current generation is using smartphones. We understood Pure Matrimony’s user requirements and they have definitely gained an advantage in their respective industry, which has ultimately lead to more users on the platform, with incredibly high customer ratings.
