Alafco commissioned for a website redesign that presented the right brand image that was more in tune with their message and ethos.

Innovative while still remaining usable and informative. Documents and forms needed to be accessed in a user-friendly way, along with display and presentational elements to be built for easy SEO optimisation and be well integrated with google analytics, allowing appropriate tracking and monitoring of traffic, micro and macro conversions.

The Solution

Alafco new site showcases a very clean design route. This approach worked very well with Alafco’s professional photography and hero image (a large banner image prominently placed on the page). The style is very straightforward for site visitors to understand, as it adopts the conventions of more modern aircraft leasing companies such as Aircap, DAE and Avolon. 

The biggest change was to the structure of the site, as all sections of the site are now grouped together for easier access, too much time was lost navigating through multiple pages to find information on their previous site. This method has allowed users to navigate every area of the website with 2 or fewer touchpoints, with the fixed navigation bar, the secondary navigation bar on each page for auto-scrolling and the hover-over drop-down menus. 

As this is an information-based site, we focused on presenting text, stats, and details in the most aesthetic way possible, for this reason, we strongly recommended highlighting each piece of information in a unique way that allows users to be immersed in each section at a time without the distraction of multiple assets, making a smoother user journey and passively encouraging greater user interaction. 

Mobile compatibility and responsive design played an integral part in the design and development of Alafco. Multi-language support was also required for the project, in which we manually translated the website into languages such as Arabic.
